Retired senior lecturer in the department of History, Religions and Philosophies at SOAS

Dr. Hunter has visited Iraq multiple times between 1987 and 2002, to study the collection of incantation bowls in the Iraqi Museum. She was co-convenor of the Centre of World Christianity at SOAS with a particular interest in the heritage of Christianity in Iraq & Syria. She currently serves on the Council for TheBritishInstitute of the Study of Iraq.
She will present an illustrated talk for 45 min followed by questions from the audience.
